September 22, 2011 - Dog Trainer Round Table "The Way You Do The Things You Do" (Presented by Dog Trainers Connection)
Moderated by: Steve Diller (please see March 3, 2011). As a dog trainer, it's important for you to know how you train dogs and why you train them that way. The dog training profession has been changing rapidly over the past few years. What trainers study and learn today isn't the same as what was taught 10-20 years ago. So what does this mean? Are all of the older techniques not valid and why? Are all the newer techniques better and why? How do you come to your beliefs and why did you choose your particular methodology? These questions and more were discussed in this exciting, Dog Trainer Round Table. Sharing with others in our field is a way to bring unity and respect to our profession.
